Relaxing card

Hey yall. I managed to not take a nap today, so I got some inspiration from Card Maker magazine and made a relaxing card. I even decorated the inside of the card and the envelope!

The image on the front is a swapped image I received and colored a while back. I used faux stitching on all the pieces on the front. I'm not sure what I will use this card for, but I am really pleased with how it turned out. Now, on to the card my big sis sent me.

Isn't it gorgeous! There are lots of little sparklies in the middle of the flowers. I love the paper piercing. I guess I need to get a piercing template so I can do that. It adds so much to a card. I don't usually use a bunch of layers on my cards, but I really love how lots of layers looks. I have a hard enough time getting 2 or 3 papers to match. I'm not sure I could get that many to go together.

I hope yall are having a wonderful Saturday. Anthony is going WILD right now. Joey is watching Space Chimps for the millionth time. The first time he walked up to me and said, "The show ain't over til the bearded lady shaves her back!" I thought I was gonna die from laughing so hard. I guess I need to watch it. It sounds funny enough from all the quotes I've heard. Yall have a good evening!
